Um allnokkurn tíma hefur mig dreymt um að bjóða nemendum upp á leik að samrásum; röð verkefna sem sýna hversu öflugar samrásir geta verið en gefa þeim líka innsýn inn í hvernig þær virka og trú á eigin getu til að nota þær sjálf.

Safnaði eitt sinn saman nokkrum verkefnahugmyndum en náði ekki að komast lengra með það. Samrásir sem eru sérlega gagnlegar eru:

  1. 1. 555 Timer IC
    • LED Blinker: Use the 555 timer in astable mode to create a simple LED flasher.
    • Simple Sound Generator: Create a basic sound generator by connecting the 555 timer to a speaker.
    • Touch Sensor: Build a touch sensor circuit using the 555 timer.

  2. 4017 Decade Counter
    • LED Chaser: Combine the 4017 with the 555 timer to create an LED chaser or running light effect.
    • Digital Counter: Build a basic digital counter to count button presses or other events.
  3. LM358 Operational Amplifier
The LM358 is a dual op-amp IC that can be used for a variety of analog signal processing applications.
    • Light Sensor: Create a light sensor circuit that turns on an LED when it gets dark.
    • Temperature Sensor: Use an LM35 temperature sensor with the LM358 to create a simple temperature monitor.
    • Audio Amplifier: Build a basic audio amplifier circuit.
  4. 74HC595 Shift Register
The 74HC595 shift register is useful for expanding the number of output pins from a microcontroller or other digital circuit.
    • Binary Counter: Use the 74HC595 to create a binary counter with LEDs.
    • Scrolling Message Display: Combine multiple 74HC595 ICs to control a larger array of LEDs for a scrolling message display.
  5. LM386 Audio Amplifier
The LM386 is a low voltage audio power amplifier. It is easy to use and can amplify small signals to drive a speaker.
    • Mini Audio Amplifier: Create a simple portable audio amplifier for a smartphone or MP3 player.
    • Voice Modulator: Build a basic voice modulator using a microphone and the LM386.
  6. CD4013 Dual D Flip-Flop
The CD4013 contains two D-type flip-flops and is useful for learning about digital logic and memory.
    • Memory Game: Create a simple memory game using the flip-flops to store button presses.
    • Frequency Divider: Use the CD4013 to divide the frequency of a clock signal from a 555 timer.
